This 16th-century farmhouse offers panoramic views across the Douro River. The owners provide a more personal service, including welcome drinks of homemade port and organising sit-down dinners with other guests.
Antique furnishings feature in every room at Quinta Da Azenha. Each of the air-conditioned guest rooms has a private en suite bathroom.
Breakfast is served in the farmhouses kitchen, which has a traditional firewood oven and fireplace. A long dining table letsguests sit together and talk of their travels whilst enjoying traditional homemade Portuguese meals.
